Rita Seedorf began writing fiction after retiring from a teaching career that began with a class of 37 first graders in Kentucky and ended at a university. Cozy Cat Press published the historical mystery that she wrote with co-author Margaret Verhoef. Readers of “Letters from Brackham Wood” live through WWII in both England and America as they read the letters the two cousins send back and forth across the Atlantic in an attempt to decipher the strange behavior of the woman for whom Moira, the British cousin works.
Rita is married to a British historian and they have a son, daughter, son-in-law, and two most amazing grandsons. Even though she and fellow Cozy Cat Press author, Julie Seedorf, call each other “cous”, they still have not determined whether or not their husbands are distantly related.
